Coachella 2017 Outfits and Experience

Thursday, April 20, 2017

Coachella 2017 Weekend One was really awesome! It was one of the best weekends, maybe even the best weekend of my life. I finally got to experience the Coachella festival. I was excited like a little kid to go there after hearing and dreaming of it for so long. And all I can say is, that it was incredibly amazing, way better than I have imagined. Amazing music, beautiful sunsets and a great vibe! I want to share this experience with you and yeah the photo quality isn't amazing, since all of them were taken with an iPhone.

The trip to the festival was totally worth it. It takes place in the desert and it got extremely hot (up to 35 degrees), I don't remember the last time I drank so much water!! In the evening, it cooled down to 16 degrees, which was really weird. But I guess, that's just how it is in the desert.
The lineup for Coachella was incredible. My favorite bands that I saw playing were The XX, Kaleo, Future, Schoolboy Q, Kendrick Lamar, Honne, Lady Gaga, Nora en Pure, Kaytranada and many more. I got so excited, when Future brought out Drake as a surprise guest!!

Coachella is very famous for dressing up and I have to admit, that I was also excited about that. I was concerned, that it would be all about the looks and that the people don't care about the music (some probably don't). But I was positively surprised, that it was not like that. The vibe at the festival is really awesome, I don't know how to describe it, if you have the chance, you should try to experience this on your own sooner or later. The venue was beautiful with all the gigantic Art sculptures and the palm trees. They had a lot of food options, even some vegan food, but the things, that I've tried weren't that special, which was a bit disappointing. But I might have just chosen the wrong things. What I loved was the Pad Thai and the Curly fries
I tried to choose festival outfits, that were comfortable. On my first day I was wearing a black jumpsuit from asos, but it was not the best idea to go with long sleeves. On my second day I went for the all boho look with flowy pants, a crochet top and a black hat. On my last day I was wearing a black bralet with shorts and a kimono cardigan. I was wearing black boots with silver studs everyday. The shoes are actually quite comfortable but after dancing all day and night I got some blisters. Some people would wear high heels and I really don't know how they are able to survive...
I ran into two of my favorite bloggers, Camila Coelho and Aimee Song! I was really excited about that. They were really nice an friendly.
Have you ever been to Coachella? Or would you like to go there?
